Agro Yard Attendant – Temporary, Full-Time (April till June)
Summary
The Agro yard attendant is responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient Agro yard and fertilizer shed. This role supports daily operations through equipment operation, yard upkeep, and general facility maintenance.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Work in and around the fertilizer sheds
- Operate skid steer equipment within the fertilizer sheds
- Operate a forklift safely and efficiently
- Perform general yard maintenance and cleanup
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the yard and buildings
- Complete daily cleaning and housekeeping tasks
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
Accountability

Reports directly to the Agro Manager and Operations Manager

Aligns with the Neerlandia Co-op’s vision and mission statements.
Qualifications
Education and Experience
-
High school diploma is considered an asset.
- Experience operating equipment is considered an asset.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to lift, pull and push a minimum of 50lbs
- Ability to follow protocols and directions
- A class 3 or class 1 driver’s license is an asset
