CURRENT JOB POSTINGS.

  • Administration - Receptionist

    As Administration – Receptionist you will be working alongside the Controller and fellow admin team members to carry out the daily activities of the department, all while providing excellent customer service.

    Administration 

    • Answer and direct phone calls and assume other receptionist duties when needed
    • Provide general support to visitors by greeting, welcoming, and directing them appropriately
    • Inform visitors by answering or referring inquiries
    • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

    Accounts Receivable (A/R)

    • Preparation of monthly statement; match POS invoices to A/R statements
    • Perform A/R accounts reconciliations as per inquiry or irregularity
    • Post account payments
    • Preparation of monthly Quick Payment Rebate

    Accounts Payable (A/P) 

    • Match vendor invoicing to monthly statements
    • Post A/P invoicing
    • Process vendor payment cheques; match and file to vendor invoice files

    Membership Relations/Other 

    • Process new memberships, membership transfers, and equity withdrawal
    • Daily entry between POS till + A/R database
    • Daily bank deposit processing
    • Daily cash float balancing
    • General filing
    • Produce and distribute correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms

     

    REQUIREMENTS

  • Operations Assistant

    The Service Centre is looking to fill a full-time Operations Assistant position, see below for a description of responsibilities and requirements.

    Primary Duties and Responsibilities

    Administration Assistant (30%)

    • Print and match reports for sales and invoicing.
    • Balance statements of accounts.
    • Data entry for departmental expense tracking.

    Customer Service (40%)

    • Post service follow-up calls.
    • Invoice data entry.
    • Assist the Service Advisor.

    Parts and Inventory Tech (30%)

    • Counting and correction of inventory items and locations.
    • Data entry of inventory purchasing and receiving.
    • Parts sales tracking for marketing and sales.
    • Researching and finding parts for special orders.

     

    Qualifications

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

    – Ability to work independently and as part of a team environment

    – Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to build lasting relationships

    – Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written communication)

    – High level of energy with strong customer service skills

    – Ability to handle transactions accurately and responsibly

    The Service Centre is looking for a full-time, permanent individual to take on the role of Operations Assistant. The Operations Assistant is responsible for helping carry our various duties to help with the daily operations of the Service Centre. We are looking for an individual who has a keen eye for detail, thrives working in a fast-paced environment, has exceptional customer service skills, and an overall great team player to help strengthen and grow our team.
  • Soil Sampling Technician - Seasonal

    The Neerlandia Co-op Agro Department is looking to fill a full-time seasonal Soil Sampling Technician position, see below for a description of responsibilities and requirements.

    Location: Barrhead County (and surrounding areas)

    Employment:

    • 3-5 months – fall season 
    • Available for up to 40+ hours/week
    • Available to work weekdays and weekends

    Reporting to the Agro Department, you will be assigned to the collecting of core soil samples from growers’ fields. Using vehicles equipped with GPS technology, you will be responsible for ensuring quality control of core samples and accurate recording of sample information.

     

    Duties may include the following:

    • Travel to assigned rural locations to take core soil samples from grower’s fields;
    • Record sample data accurately using the latest technology;
    • Ensure quality samples retrieved, packaged and labelled appropriately
    • Meet with supervisor regularly to discuss field conditions;
    • Safe operation of motorized vehicle

    Requirements/Attributes:

    • Valid driver’s license
    • Agricultural experience considered an asset;
    • Ability to carry up to 25 kg periodically;
    • Ability to work independently
    • Strong work ethic
    • Maintain high level of integrity
