What you’ll do:
You’ll primarily be responsible for creating the Marketing material for the Neerlandia Co-op; engaging all department managers on a regular schedule to determine marketing promotions and campaigns. You’ll assist in planning quarterly and annual sales and marketing plans and developing and executing community relation strategies facilitating our efforts to be an active participant in the community and support local initiatives. You’ll participate in and collect market research to ensure competitiveness in the marketplace and best marketing practices.
· Marketing activities across commodity lines; planning and executing marketing strategy discussions, internal & external communications, social media & website management, advertising liaison, creating and designing advertising for promotions & campaigns, and Team Book (centralized promotional material) ordering.
· Facilitating our relationship with the FCL Customer Experience team with the goal of improving our customer relationship strategy (E.g., membership application and onboarding procedures).
· Assisting in developing and executing a Community Relations strategy meant to build brand awareness within the communities we serve. Facilitate our participation in and support of (I.e., donations and sponsorships) community events and campaigns.

What you’ll do:
- Under the direction of the Controller, support the preparation of month end reconciliations from Point of Sale to General Ledger, GL account reconciliation, margin calculations.
- Daily focus in areas of Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable & Credit Management.

- Accounts Payable duties include vendor master file maintenance, reconciliation of Vendor Statements, Vendor invoice input & monthly cheque run.
- Accounts Receivable duties include assistance with customer charge account reconciliation, collections calls, review of A/R aging reports.
- Assist Controller in annual budget preparation, patronage entry, year end equity allocation & repayments process.
- Obtain a working knowledge of department point-of-sale systems to provide support to Department Managers in areas of inventory management, invoice reconciliations, process improvements.
- Support the Controller in planning & documentation of internal control process and preparation for external year end audit.
- Provide support to the administration team as required. Duties would include:

- Obtain a working knowledge of daily admin process in order to support vacation coverages, new admin training & back up to admin during busy timeframes (15th of month, statement preparation).

Who you are:

AUTOMOTIVE TECHNICIAN
Job Expectations
Summary
Due to the busy schedule at the Neerlandia Co-op Service Center we are looking to grow our team and add another Automotive Technician. The Automotive Technician is responsible for repairs and preventive automotive maintenance.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform routine automotive maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and alignments.
- Diagnosing and repairing a wide range of light to medium duty vehicles.
- Communicating to advisor about the status of vehicles to keep customers informed.
- Using computerized testing equipment, conduct extensive diagnostic procedures to determine the sources of customers’ problems and provide accurate repair recommendations.
Accountability
- Automotive Technician will report directly to the Service Centre Manager
- To align objectives with Neerlandia Co-op shared values, purpose, and vision
Qualifications
Education and Experience
- Valid high school diploma or equivalent
- Apprentice or Ticket/Red Seal Certification
- Preference will be given to 3rd/4th-year apprentice or Journeyman
