  • Animal Health Specialist

    We are looking to fill a full-time Animal Health Specialist position, see below for a description of responsibilities and requirements.

    Primary Duties and Responsibilities

    • Build and maintain trust and relationships with customers and the community
    • Offer consistent quality customer service ensuring a successful shopping experience
    • Assist customers through locating product, providing recommendations when requested, and explaining maintenance or use of equipment
    • Maintain accurate records of licensing and dated merchandise
    • Ordering and merchandising stock
    • Assure high standard in visual presentation of Animal Health department – merchandise recovering/front-facing, restocking, clean and organized displays
    • Maintain a safe and clean work environment
    • Other duties as assigned by Manager

    Qualifications

    Education, Experience & Certificates

    • High school diploma
    • Certificate/degree or equivalent experience in nutrition, health, and/or  care of livestock

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team environment
    • Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to build lasting relationships
    • Ability to communicate effectively
    • High level of energy with strong customer service skills
    • Ability to handle transactions accurately and responsibly
    • Organized, methodical, and detail-oriented, and able to keep neat, accurate and orderly records

    • Aid in maintaining the sales floor
    • Maintain a safe and clean work environment

    Qualifications

    Education, Experience & Certificates

    • High school diploma
    • Valid PAL (Possession and Acquisition License)

We are looking for an individual with a passion for, and experience in, fishing and/or hunting. Associates in this department interact with customers while identifying their needs, assisting in finding products, explaining technical details of merchandise, and making professional recommendations to assist customers in making informed purchases. 
  • Building Materials Handler

    The Building Materials Department is looking to fill a full-time Building Materials Handler position, see below for a description of responsibilities and requirements.

    Primary Duties and Responsibilities

    • Help customers load product.
    • Put orders together for deliveries and pick-up.
    • Unload suppliers and store product in organized manner.
    • Make deliveries to customers as required.
    • Provide excellent customer service to all new and returning customers.
    • Maintain a clean/organized and safe work environment.
    • Work with sales staff to maintain accurate inventory levels.
    • Maintain tools and equipment.
    • Other duties as assigned by manager.

     

    Qualifications

    Education, Experience, and Certifications

    • Class 3 driver’s license – with airbrakes
      • Clean driver’s abstract
