This year’s Canola Seed Program is now available. Get in touch with the Agro Department if you need help choosing the right hybrid for your farm.

Deadlines;

1. Booking Deadline: November 15th, 2020– book your canola seed by November 15th and lock in your booking discount (no prepayment necessary)
2. Prebuy Deadline: January 31st, 2020 – book your canola seed at any time and prebuy by January 31st to lock in an additional 5% discount (prepayment due no later than Jan.31st)

Purchase your seed with a Lead with Seed line of credit from Farm Credit Canada by Jan. 31, 2020, and enjoy no payments and no interest until October 2020.

Growers that commit to growing two or more DEKALB^® canola varieties by Nov. 15, 2019, will receive $30 rebate per bag through the Co-op exclusive Double down with Dekalb program — up to a maximum of 32 bags.

The new Federal Fuel Charge (Carbon Tax) will be coming into effect on January 1st, 2020 in Alberta.

There is a limited exemption for fuel that is sold to a farmer, in order for farmers to purchase gas or diesel exempt of the fuel charge we must receive a signed L402 form; Fuel Charge Exemption Certificate for Farmers and retain it on file. REGISTRATION DEADLINE – JANUARY 1st 2020.

Rules & Conditions:

The contest is conducted by the Neerlandia Co-op, by entering in this contest participants acknowledge that they have read and agree with the rules and conditions.

Purchase necessary (no minimum required), entries can be submitted at till locations at the Neerlandia Co-op Home center and Food store on June 1^st, 2019 only. Entries will only be accepted as a receipt proving purchase of merchandise from the Neerlandia Co-op Home center and Food Store on June 1^{st, 2019}, please ensure that your name and contact information are clearly written on your receipt before you place your entry in the draw box. Multiple submissions are not possible per person.

The giveaway is open to all Canadian residents over the age of 18, excluding the employees of the Neerlandia Co-op and/or any immediate family members living in the same household as an employee of the Neerlandia Co-op.

Limit of one prize per person. Prizes are one of two $1000 vouchers for WestJet. The draw shall take place after June 1st, 2019. Following the draw, the selected entrants shall be contacted by the Neerlandia Co-op and in order to be declared winner, they will have 5 business days to collect their prize from the Neerlandia Co-op. The participant shall be disqualified, and the next entrant selected as a winner if the entrant contacted fails to collect their prize within 5 business days of being contacted.

The Neerlandia Co-op reserves the right to amend or vary the rules of the contest at any time. Entrants release and hold harmless the Neerlandia Co-op from and against any and all liability with respect to or in any way arising from the Giveaway and the awarding, use or misuse of any prize awarded including liability for personal injury and/or damage to self and/or property.

This time of year we all start to look ahead to the spring and beyond. March is a busy month of sales and bookings for Crop protection products and Forages. Below is a breakdown of the sales and programs available. Stop by the Agro department any time to chat about how any of these programs can be a fit for your farm.

Neerlandia Co-op Crop Protection Early Pickup Program;

• Pickup any Crop Protection product by March 31st and receive an additional 2% off and you won’t be charged until in-season.

Corteva Early Book Program;

• Book by March 15th and save 3% on any combination of Corteva products.
• Pickup that Product by March 31st and save an additional 2% on your Corteva products.

Bayer Incredible Cereal Offer;

• Book 1000 acres of Infinity by March 15th and save $1.00/acre.
• Book 500 acres of Tundra by March 15th and save $2.00/acre.

Forage Week Booking Program;

• Book your Forage seed by March 15th and receive a 10% discount. Applicable for Pickseed and BrettYoung Forage Seed.

The Neerlandia Co-op Annual General Meeting will be held this year on January 12th, 2019 in the Neerlandia CRC Fellowship Hall. The Meeting will start at Noon and lunch will be served. Admission is free and all members are encouraged to participate.
