Soil Sampler – Temporary, Full-Time (Sept. till Nov.)
Summary
Reporting to the Agro Department, you will be assigned to the collecting of core soil samples from grower’s fields. Using vehicles equipped with GPS technology, you will be responsible for ensuring quality control of core samples and accurate recording of sample information.
Employment
- 2–3-month F/T Term/season between September – November 2026, with the possibility of extension
- Available for up to 40+ hours/week
- Available to work weekdays and weekends
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Travel to assigned rural locations to take core soil samples from grower’s fields;
- Record sample data accurately using the latest technology;
- Ensure quality samples retrieved, packaged and labelled appropriately
- Meet with supervisor regularly to discuss field conditions;
- Safe operation of motorized vehicle
Accountability

Reports directly to the Agro Manager and Operations Manager

Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license
- Agricultural experience would be an asset;
- Ability to carry up to 25 kg periodically;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to follow protocols and directions
- Strong work ethic
- Maintain high level of integrity
