We’re excited to be able to partially open our doors again! June 1 from 10am-4pm we will be able to serve you outside on the patio. Come see us for available menu options – the Brunch Burger will be on special with your choice of side!

 

Keep in mind that tables cannot have more than 4 people, either all from the same household, or two close contacts to a person living alone. Indoor dining remains closed for the time being.

Announcement: New General Manager

The Neerlandia Co-op Board of Directors is pleased to announce that Steven DeVries has accepted the position of General Manager at the Neerlandia Co-op, effective July 4, 2021. Steve comes to the position with over 20 years of prior service and experience with the organization as an agronomist in the Agro Department. We look forward to working with Steve in his new role as GM and are excited for what he will bring to the future of the organization.

The following item is available for tender, in present condition, at the Neerlandia Co-op. Please submit your bids to the Lumber Department in writing or by email to [email protected] by March 18, 2021. The item is available for viewing upon request. The highest bid will not necessarily be accepted and the Neerlandia Co-op reserves the right to refuse sale. You will be contacted by March 26, 2021 if your bid is accepted. COVID -19 Update

One of our employees has tested positive for COVID-19 and is at home isolating while awaiting recovery. We worked with AHS to trace close contacts and it was determined that there were none – neither employee nor the general public. The location has been thoroughly cleaned and sanitized beyond the cleaning measures already in place. Our team is continuing to do their best to adhere to safety guidelines, and kindly ask you to be vigilant in doing the same.

Spring Fuel Early Delivery Program

Plan ahead for the busy seeding season by taking advantage of the Early Fuel Delivery Program. Order your Summer Dyed Diesel for delivery starting February 1 until the end of March, and do not pay until May*! Contact the Fuel Department for more information or to order today!

* Payment is due May 15; diesel is priced on day of delivery.

Annual General Meeting + Bylaws

Members of the Neerlandia Co-op, you are invited to join us on Saturday, January 23, 2021, for our Virtual Annual General Meeting. Invitation to attend is extended to all who have a membership at the Neerlandia Co-op, because as a member you are an owner. You have the ability to participate in the democratic process and share your voice to help guide the direction of the Co-op.

Due to COVID-19 we are not able to gather together as we normally would, hence why this year’s meeting will be a virtual one hosted via Zoom.

Registration will be required in order to be able to attend the meeting. You can register by completing the form at the administration desk, at the grocery till, or directly with Femke by emailing: [email protected] or by calling: 780-674-3020 Ext. 237.  You will need to provide your name, membership number and a valid email address. A link to the meeting + login information will be emailed to all registrants prior to the meeting, along with a Zoom user guide booklet.

Please note that 1 member = 1 vote, if you have more than one member in your household wishing to participate in the meeting, each member will need to register in order to be able to vote!

Takeout Available at Deli

With the latest Covid Restrictions affecting regular operating hours of the Restaurant, we wanted to let you know that although dine-in is unavailable, we’d still love to serve you – even if it means at a distance and we’re sending you on your way to enjoy your meal.  Effective today, the deli will be offering some restaurant menu items available to order for pickup. Call 780.674.3020 Ext. 291 to order. Orders can be placed between 11am-4pm.

Please note the Restaurant phone WILL NOT be checked at this time so make sure you’re contacting the Deli to place your order!

Covid-19 Update

As Alberta has declared itself to be in a state of public health emergency, we are doing our best to abide by the laws and regulations set out on us and ask that you please help us in doing the same. Please be mindful of the following:

  • Masks are required by customers and employees alike – in the event that you have forgotten your mask at home, we do have disposable masks available as you enter the store
  • Please be mindful of the space between yourself, fellow shoppers and employees – there’s tape on floors to guide you in keeping your distance at the tills
  • Come prepared with a list of things you’re needing to buy to minimize your time in store – we encourage you to call and order for pick-up
  • Shop alone if able – 1 family member per trip if possible
